For the dashers who are simply lazy, don't follow delivery instructions and simply text and leave my order in the lobby for anyone to take, could I just say that "i never received my order?" Technically if they dont deliver the food to my address listed and the snap a picture in the lobby which is NOT my address listed, then they never actually delivered my food to me. I know that in vast majority of cases, all my previous dashers leave my food at my door then snap a picture of it in front of my unit as proof of delivery which makes complete sense. ![]() I am wondering how effective this actually is and if it truly makes a difference? Is there any other recourse for dashers who don't actually deliver my order? Parking is never an issue outside my building, finding my unit is extremely easy, and my instructions are always clear.įor these dashers, I give them simply 1 star rating. I assume that these select few drivers are simply lazy and dont want to take the elevator up. But it seems inappropriate when I select the option to have my delivery given to me at my front door that the dasher simply leaves it downstairs in public eye - which has been stolen in the past. Now if there is a legitimate reason you cannot come up to my unit despite the elevator being right at the front entrance, I am happy to come down and meet you. Over the last month, I have noticed several drivers who also simply text me saying "your order is in the lobby" and never bring it up to my unit. On one instance by the time I saw his text saying he left it downstairs on a table, I went down and my food was not there. However, there have been several instances in the past where I simply get a text saying my food is downstairs in the lobby and refuse to bring it up to my unit. ![]() 95% of my Dashers follow instructions and bring the food up to my door, take a pic, then hand it to me. You have free street parking outside, walk straight through the front door and the elevator is several feet away. I live in an apartment complex with very easily accessibility to my unit number.
